“Overall, a beautiful hotel with great facilities and stunning surroundings, but the lack of restful sleep slightly impac”
El Manantial felt like a very special place. We usually visited during quieter hours, between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Aquaxana, particularly the sauna area and the cold-water pool, offered a deeply relaxing experience. To avoid crowds, we recommend visiting at 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, or around noon. The setting is stunning, with pleasant walking paths. Additionally, there are several remarkable restaurants nearby, such as La Vizcaína (just a 2-minute walk from the hotel) and Pedro Martino (a 10-minute walk). The latter is perfect for lunch, offering exceptional views. The rooms are spacious, and the bathroom is very comfortable, adding an extra touch of convenience to the stay.
The least positive aspect of our experience was, without a doubt, the quality of our rest. We were unable to sleep well on any of the nights we stayed at the hotel. 1. The room was excessively warm, even with the heating turned off. 2. The lack of pillow variety was also an issue. The two provided were very thin, but when combined, they were too thick. At least for my husband and me, this made it impossible to get a good night’s sleep. For us, proper rest is essential, and not being able to sleep well slightly tarnished an otherwise excellent experience. As for the staff, they were generally very professional and kind. Although there was an isolated interaction that did not match the excellent service provided by the rest of the team.
