They advertise there is a lift but do not tell you that it is switched off when there are no staff present ie between 8pm & noon.

I stayed for 1 night, so it was perfect. I don’t think I would stay for longer in the individual room. It’s tiny. Also, I didn’t like that you can’t take the elevator at night when reception is closed. They leave another door open to stairs, and it feels unsafe too. Anyone can potentially walk into the hostal.

Air conditioning is not working in any unit. I traveled with other friends for a total of 4 rooms and it was the same. Two of my friends left the hotel before the reservation expired because that issue. Also, the floor is cleaned without water and I noticed that my feet were dark due to the lack of cleaning (just the floor). The rest was very cleaned.

There was a weird and musty smell in the room. The reception opened at 12:00, and we didn’t receive any information about how to check out earlier. We were in a hurry, and luckily we noticed a note in Spanish on the main door saying we could leave the keys in the box - but the English translation didn’t mention below this at all. The reception and elevator operated from 12:00 to 20:00, which wouldn’t normally be an issue, but the staircase was easily accessible from the outside for 24h, so anyone could enter the building. We didn’t feel safe, especially at night when there were loud conversations just outside our door (our apartment was located close to the stairs). Additionally, every time someone in a neighboring apartment used the shower, there was a loud noise coming from the pipes.
