Blue House

House is in a noisy street, in the early hours of the morning with deliveries up and down to the pedestrianised main street. On our last night being a Friday we got back to the house around 10pm to find about 8 teenage boys with electric scooters hanging around and sitting in our doorway, we had to ask them to move to get in the front door. They were playing music and shouting and screaming for some time, we had to be up early for our flight home. They were in and out of the small supermarket opposite, in our opion they looked like drug runners ( the night clubs are close by and it being a Friday night) There is also a ladie that hangs around on the corner outside the shop most nights, seems friendly enough but late one night she looked like she was on drugs or alcohol falling about in the road. Such a shame as the house is lovely

Nothing it was perfect will definitely return again

As mentioned also by another guest, due to the location the area is not quiet, especially by night. There is a pub just across the road (THE YORK) where they play live music until late and show football matches. Even after the pub has closed, you still hear people shouting outside until 1 or 2am. A potential solution would be to install double/triple glazing in the master bedroom.
