“lanzarote is very nice and beautiful. the hotel could be much improved in quality, food and staff.”

breakfast was ok but missing for fresh fruits variety. pool area very nice and pleasent gardens. size of the rooms quite big and spacious, with lots of light. comfortable enough bed. dinner had quite a lot of options, but after a few days was a feeling of "more of the same".

To be improved

Dinner: the drinks from the machine (that you drink at breakfast: water, apple juice, orange juice, etc) from the maschine, which usually are included in every hotel in the world, were not included in the buffet dinner. We did not know and got screamed at in front of the whole hotel (2 times) that we had to pay. When I spoke with the manager he said "we got warned" so gave us the idea that we were stealing something... ridiculous. First because you do not "warn guests" you kindly explain the situation. but maybe the staff is not trained enough for a good costumer service. who knows... Claiming that it was written in the brochure that was given to us when checking in at 11:30 at night. which of course I did not read cause i was tired. Nor any staff came to my table in any diner of the nights we stayed, asking if we wanted something to drink. The toilet in our room was leaking and flooding the room. the room (for 7 nights stay), was poorly cleaned, with no bedsheets replacement the entire stay. only one pillow per person, very uncomfortable. Towels for the pool were paid if we wish to replace for a clean one, being deducted from the deposit. I guess they rather have more hard work cleaning a 7 days old usage towel. Bar cocktails not well executed. no healthy options for lunch meals. All in all, people travel on vacation to relax from a stressed life, and get more stress with situations likes this. There is no empathy to understand where we come from and what maybe happening in our life's for us to be on a vacation. not nice to be rude to clients just because this is your job and your tired of them. I work in tourism too and I don't treat my clients like this...

“Quiet location, Spacious Rooms, great views!”

Room was more of a apartment minus the kitchen spacious and well decorated. the food was nice not a huge selection but there were well formed meals unlike some buffets. All the staff were lovely especially reception who were very helpful.

To be improved

The property although clean there were a lot of dusty places. the housekeeping always wanted to come too early. the hotel is a little out of the way 5 euros to town or a 25 - 30 min walk fine for us but not for all. the evening entertainment was limited and the evenings can be a bit monotonous.

Rooms need a little updating bed not comfortable they need to open up the lobby bar to the outside area at the front of the hotel throughout the day also you are not guaranteed somewhere to shower and change if you have a later flight which I think is poor.
