“Unbeatable central location and security - a great experience”

The best

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bob W Chueca. The hotel is incredibly well-located in the Gran Vía area, surrounded by small shops and supermarkets where you can easily pick up water, groceries, and food. Buses and metro stations are just a few minutes' walk away, making it very convenient to get around the city. The room is compact but comfortably spacious for two people. It comes with good air conditioning, a small kitchen island, a fridge, and a wall-mounted TV across from the bed. The bathroom is on the smaller side but perfectly functional, featuring a compact shower cabin, a large sink, and a toilet — all clean and well-maintained. Security at the hotel is excellent. Access from the street is restricted by several layers of entry, starting with a large gate that requires a code, followed by the main entrance, also code-locked. Once inside, guests need to enter another code to access the hallway of their floor, and again to enter their room. Noise from neighboring rooms was minimal; most of the sound comes from the vibrant streets outside, which are lively from morning until late evening. We didn’t find it disturbing — rather, it added to the atmosphere of staying in the heart of the city. The staff were friendly, and we had pleasant interactions with other guests. Overall, Bob W Chueca was a highly satisfying stay thanks to its unbeatable location, great facilities, and strong sense of security. Midway through our stay, the hotel experienced some issues with the AC system. However, they handled it well by stocking the shared kitchen’s fridge with complimentary bottled water and providing fans, which we appreciated

“The location of the place is perfect - so close to Gran Via and on a busy street with lots of stores and cafes. The room is cozy and filled with cute details. It's also clean, and the bed is great. We loved our stay. · Cons: If your room is opposite the communal kitchen, it might get loud in the morning as you depend on politeness of others.”

The location is perfect - very central. Everything was smooth and well done.

To be improved

Staying 7 nights, I could have done with more than just the one complimentary clean. To pay 29 Euros for a second clean over that length of time was a bit excessive.
