“17 days in a wonderful heat bliss,”

The best

The location of this property over shadows the parts i disliked about it. this property is in the middle of anything you might need. you have a supermarket across the street, a kebab place and a bakery, even a laundromat 3 minutes walk from the house, restaurant just down the stairs, and the place is 5-7 minute walk from a gorgeous and brilliant beach, on the way to said beach it is bussing with restaurants and shops, everything you need and want. sure the place has some down sides, but most are fixable pretty easy. and even if they were not addressed, it is still a really good place.

To be improved

first off all, the balcony door does not close properly and does not lock at all. having a active toddler it was a insane security risk and outright dangerous and should be addressed A.SA.P. the downstairs neighbor complained about how loud we were, and wanted us to "stop walking on the floors" she got so angry when we used the washing machine we only used it once out of fear of her anger. the walls and floors were really dirty, specially the walls and i did clean it my self. furniture was spotty. the two single beds were good but the double bed was hard and not good to sleep on. the sofa was filled with sand and Debry. for a location so close to a beach there was no vacuum, and i believe a vacuum is a 100% must to keep things sand free during a stay. we stayed for 17 days, and there were no spare bedsheets, we had the ones on the beds, so when it needed cleaning, we had to take them off, clean and dry them and put them on.

“Generally Good, but Could be Better”

Located just a few metres from the Parroquia Nuestra Señora del Carmen church, local shops, bars and restaurants are all within easy walking distance, and a taxi rank is just outside the front door. Beds were comfy, the kitchen serviceable (although the door over the microwave won't stay in its upper position), and the supplied towels and linen good quality. Wi-Fi and internet access was very fast and stable. Despite being on the main street, the property is pretty quiet, but be aware that it is on the third floor and there is no lift, so if you struggle with climbing stairs you may have a problem. The ceiling fans in the main lounge / diner and the bedrooms are good, but are no substitute for air-con.

To be improved

An information folder would have been helpful, and the soft seating was limited to one small sofa: a second sofa would easily fit and be a good addition. The main bathroom lacked both a safety mat for the over-bath shower and any extraction making it a bit "steamy". The kitchen had only very basic utensils and the number of glasses, mugs, etc. was very limited. The quantity of provided toiletries and washing up liquid wasn't really adequate. All these things could be easily addressed by the host and would improve the quality of the stay significantly. The second "bathroom" is really just a cloakroom with a toilet and small sink, and the "balcony" is small (only really large enough for two people), overlooks the street and is accessible only from the main bedroom.

“Superb”

The best

The apartment is very well located, in a busy area with cafes, restaurants, stores, bus/taxi station nearby and is literally 5min away from the beach (Los Cristianos, Las Vistas), which make it great if you want to get some sun and a bath after a few hours of work or grab a bite. It was great for 3 adults, since it has 2 bathrooms, a common living area with an equipped kitchen, a balcony and wifi. The host was very helpful.

To be improved

Since it is a busy area and the bedrooms are facing the street, it can get pretty loud in the evening/early morning because the windows are not very much isolating the sound, so is not a place for light sleepers or you need earbuds.
