“Lovely apartment near the old town”

The location was perfect, right near the old town but not inside it. Great for strolling in any direction. The building fronts on a busy street, but the apartment faces a courtyard at the rear, so there was no noise at all. Everything in the apartment is new and clean. The kitchen has all you could want. The main bedroom has a large en-suite bathroom which is lovely. For the other two bedrooms there is a quite small bathroom to share, but we managed fine. The living room is very comfortable and pleasant to hang around in together. The host was wonderful. He met us on arrival and gave valuable advice and tips; and was available to answer any questions that arose during our stay. You should definitely follow his recommendations for good places to eat!

Location was great close to all attractions and bus connections. Apartment was spacious , very secure and comfortable

Disappointed that there was not a small welcome of a bottle of local wine or small basket of fruit. This is something that was awaiting us on many of our trips including hotels and Air BnB.

It worried me that the apartment had been turned to tourism use when the rest of the building were obviously tenants, thus depriving local people of places to live. The tensions that this causes were evident not only in the ‘X’ graffiti sprayed on the letting company’s sign by the door from the street, but also from much more obious graffiti in the old town, such as “Tourists Go Home”. These tension also exist in the area where we ourselves live and so I sympathise completely with this viwepoint. Were I to go again, knowing better about the tensions caused by turning residential property into tourism appartmemts in this beautiful city, and not, as we were this time travelling as three generations, thus requiring the convenience of an appartmemt, I believe I would choose to stay in a hotel.

“Great apartment in San Sebastian with best possible location!”

The best

Beautiful apartment with best possible location - next to Parte Vieja (Old town) and best restautants in San Sebastian, few minutes walk to Zurriola and La Concha beach. Fully equipped, very clean and cozy apartment. Our host Aymar was very kind and supportive.

Public parking next to the flat has a lot of space but is very expensive - 30 EUR/day
