“unexpected stay after my wife's hospital treatment”
The best

Ground floor apartment was perfect for my wife after she was discharged from the local hospital due to an unexpected illness. Nice big comfy bed and good ensuite facilities. The owners made me feel welcome and could not do enough for me. Definitely recommend for the independent traveller

To be improved

Water wasn't heating up one day and the problem was sorted straight away without any fuss.

The best

Where bounty bedroom was situated, there were clean towels a beautiful shower and fridge. The bed was comfortable with lovely blanket.

“The second room was superb. Only book the small room if you want a budget option.”

The owner responded very quickly to our telephone query about the room. We felt that it did not match the description. He explained it was a general description about all the rooms, brought us the items that were missing and agreed to move us to a better room the next day. He also gave us a discount at his restaurant. The new room was superb!

To be improved

Needed a clearer description of the first room. It had facilities as described, except there was nothing for making coffee etc. It was clean, but it was very small and looked out onto a stairway. (The first thing I saw inside the door was a broken litter bin, which affected how I felt about it)
