The staff were exceptional, very welcoming and honestly made our stay enjoyable.
The hotel is in an absolutely fantastic location with great views.
Overall, we really enjoyed the stay despite some drawbacks.
The room had issues with lighting and noise from the bar above, affecting overall room quality.
Higher pricing for junior suite was not justified due to quality issues.
The rooftop pool was stunning, but the pool area offered limited loungers and drinks were served in paper cups.
“First class experience”
Fabulous hotel in a great location. Staff, rooms, food all excellent and amazing balcony overlooking the cathedral - the ideal location to enjoy the Easter week processions. The only area for improvement for me would be for the rooftop bar to sell more than just cocktails. I'd have much preferred to sit with a glass of wine or a beer.
“Perfect spot for a city break in Cádiz!”
Wonderful stay for a fantastic located city break. The rooms were lovely and stylish, the food was delicious but most importantly the team were welcoming and couldn’t do enough to make our stay a pleasure.
“Don't go to the bar”
Two cocktails 28 euros. Each glass contained an ice cube the size of it. Two drops of mescal and cheap popcorns and that was it. An absolute scandal.
“The worst!!!!!!!!!”
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!! There are too many other really great places to stay that are very near by, wish I had. We stayed three nights, two of which were hell. The air conditioning did not function on those two nights. You can't open the windows AT ALL because the cathedral is there and the clock chimes very loudly about every 15 minutes. Also, it's in a quad area filled with bustling restaurants and tons of people that party until very early in the morning. We asked them to fix the air conditioning all day after the first night, they kept saying they were working on it. But no technician was sent and they refused to call the manager of the hotel who was apparently unavailable. Inexcusable that it had to go another nights when they had the entire day to fix it. The manager agreed to refund two nights stay as we were leaving but said we had to go through booking.com. Of course that was just a lie to get us out of there and pay our bill. I disputed with my CC and also could not get them to honor their promise. The hotel smelled liked sewage in the elevator and in the outdoor bar upstairs. Service was terrible, trying to get a drink at the pool was impossible and the bar was filthy. Dirty glasses and dishes everywhere. Towels in the bathroom were really weird. Just stay somewhere else. There are several really nice hotel near the beach and beach clubs that are marvelous. These guys have way too many excuses for poor service and non functioning facility.
“Amazing location and rooftop view”
Great location right across from cathedral. Rooms were good size and had everything you need. Rooftop is small but cute pool and overlooks the cathedral. Breakfast is worth it too compared to others on the square.
“Lovely hotel. Best location in Cadiz”
This was a lovely hotel in an absolutely fantastic location! The staff were exceptional, very welcoming and honestly made our stay. The rooftop pool was stunning, with a number of comfortable seating areas. We have seen reviews that say it was loud. Considering we were right next to the bar, we heard nothing!! There were just a few things that let it down. There was a slight smell of sewage that came from the bathroom, and also lingered across the hallway. The bathroom extractor and the ac made some strange sounds, which were a bit irritating. The bathroom light was controlled by an external panel. Although the panel was really cool, it meant going into the toilet at night was difficult. There was also one pillow per person rather than the standard two. However, i am sure if we asked, they would have given us some. Overall, we really enjoyed the stay and would return.
