BQ Amfora Beach - Adults Only

The rooms are very small. They don't look so small in the pictures. It was ok for a short stay, but if we would stay for a week it would be very uncomfortable. Air conditioning was weak so it took long time to cool the room. The beds felt quite cheap as well. I think the price for the stay should be a bit lower to have good price/quality ratio :)

I liked everything

I would expect more professionalism from the man in the reception during the night shift. He was asking too personal questions and using words as “cariño” etc which I don’t like to be called, and as a female traveller I felt somehow overwhelmed

The front desk receptionist who help to check in was bit rude. He was very enthusiasm to Spanish people, but had much less patience for us. Luckily, the next early morning we met another receptionist who was nice and help to call the taxi. The water pressure in the shower is too low and the temperature is unstable.

Everything else. - It took about an hour to do the checkin although I had already done it in advance as I was asked to by the hotel. - Impossible to sleep at night due to people moving furniture above us harshly, the AC doing a loud noise all night and the bed being unstable and wiggly, amongst other things. - The shower door was broken and didn't open or close properly and the cleanliness of it was not good. - The room was in a different building to the main hotel something never advertised when booking whatsoever. - Very small room to the point where 2 people cannot really pass at the same time around it and cannot really open a luggage without cutting pass elsewhere. - Very early checkout time. - Strange pieces of something dark in bed. - Not even one single bottle of water in a city where it cannot be consumed from the tub in a supposed 4-star hotel. Neither the opportunity to keep it cold if you buy it yourself cause there is nothing in the bedroom to said purpose. - Basically absolutely nothing expected from a 4 star hotel or the elevated price that I paid for my room. What you get out of it is probably worth half the price or less and it is 100% not even close to a 4* hotel.

The receptionist didn't speak English. I asked him to speak English but he continued speaking in Spanish, only louder and slower. I was able to catch few words, but 60 % of things were lost in translation. I was also a bit disappointed to stay in the ground floor room. No view outside - but everyone at the swimming pool could see my balcony/mini terrace. Despite this, everything was really ok and I generally recommend this place. Just ask for a room in upper floors when booking your stay.
