“Service = 5 stars”
The best

Service deserves 5 stars. All round an excellent hotel and location with great hot water and great quality Features and spotlessly clean. Only 2 negatives for us were the dates air conditioning and the terrible soundproofing. A 5 star stay became 2 sleepless nights but it's good and Sole, the receptionist was brilliant.

“Problem with Air Conditioning”
The best

We stayed at BQ Andalucía Beach Hotel (20–24 October 2025). Unfortunately, the air conditioning in our room (310) did not work properly, and we were told it was due to the hot weather. The issue was never resolved, despite several reports, and the hotel later incorrectly stated that we said it was fixed. We noticed that other guests had reported the same problem in earlier reviews, showing this is an ongoing issue. We have filed a formal complaint with the Junta de Andalucía regarding this matter.

“Comfortable hotel in need of updating.”
The best

Very good. efficient and friendly staff, comfortable bed, clean room (very good housekeeping) Dinner times very Germancentric. Eating later than 19.30 means very little selection left. Breakfast selection was very good and despite being hectic ,the evening dinner was good. Good location Clean hotel that would benefit from an update..

The best

A wonderful experience! The staff were kind and extremely helpful! The room was always spotless. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The sea is very close and we could see it from our room.

“A great base for visiting family.”
The best

Would be a 5 Star review, but the air con in the room was poor, and no prior notice that the sea view rooms would be facing a VERY noisy building site first thing in the morning. The hotel itself was brilliant for a base visiting family in Velez. We were B&B and the breakfast was really good! The staff were so polite, especially the roof bar guy in the evening I wish I'd got his name! The pool was quite, which is nice if you want to relax. We tried the hotels food during the day which was also excellent quality. All round great hotel, which I wouldn't hesitate staying at again.

“Lovely Hotel”
The best

Really lovely hotel, on reception was greeted with friendly, helpful staff. Rooms spotlessly clean and brilliant location, a stones throw from the beach and restaurants etc. Didn't try the restaurant as we ate out, but from what I could see it looked pretty decent. We would definitely stay here again.
