Bravissimo Calderes El Bou, with river view

We arrived early, and apartment was not ready, we had asked for an early check-in but was not available, we had 6 hours in girona before apartment was ready. We were told we would receive a text message to say the apartment was ready but none came. We went back to the office at 3.30 and the apartment was then ready. We were told the apartment was 5 minutes walk. We walked in the direction and finally found the place but there was nothing on the front door. At that stage it would extremely helpful if somebody had walked with us to the apartment , we were totally lost and exhausted. We knew there was no lift but what we did not know was that the apartment had 63 steep steps up a narrow hallway to get to the apartment. If we had know this we would not have booked. The lights would not work for us. So we headed up in the dark. There were no numbers on the doors and we ended up knocking on doors to find it. Apartment was clean and tidy. However there a couple of issues: 1. There were 2 steps from living room to kitchen area. These need to be marked with some form of liggts or fluorescent tape as in the dark you cannot see them and one could easily fall. 2. The only bathroom is off the small single room. The wall is a partition wall and does not go the full way up, which means that anybody wishing to use the bathroom, particularly at night, wakes up whoever is asleep in the small bedroom. 3. The apartment is on the top floor and it's only access are the 63 stairs up. If there was a fire in the building, there is no way out and this is a major health risk.
