“At first, entrance to the apartment was difficult to find. But that was the only issue. Everything was great. Great location, size perfect for family of four, air con, very comfy beds. The apartment was clean and has got everything you need. Also, the hosts were very nice and helpful. If I would go back to Girona, I would definitely book it again.”

“Comfortable and great location! Some small details would make it perfect!”

Super nice location, close to very nice cafes and bars but not close to noise! Beds were very comfortable, kitchen is reasonably well equipped! Apartment was very clean! Host was very friendly and explained everything very well.

To be improved

Kitchen chairs were not very robust. 2 were outdoor garden stools not actually chairs. These need to be checked/replaced! It was nice to have baby cribs provided but unfortunately both were very worn and sagging (not really safe for smaller babies). I think it is time to replace these! There was no handsoap provided. This would be nice to do - you have notices about being sustainable at the properties but if everyone who visits needs buy a new bar soap/soap bottle to be able to wash hands for just a few days this is a but wasteful…

“Nice apartment in the Old Town”

The best

Nice comfortable apartment in the heart of the Old Town. Communication with the host was easy and clear through whatsapp, and the apartment was very clean upon arrival. The bed was really comfy too. Like so many others, we were here for a cycling holiday, and the apartment was great for that as it's right on the ground floor and there's even a little laundry room inside the apartment that's convenient for storing your bikes when not out riding! Just note that there are staircases outside to get to the building, so you would have to be ok carrying your bike up/down them each day. But we found that easier than having to carry bikes up and down stairs inside. Its right in the heart of the Old Town but on a quiet street.

Other reviewers have noted this and it's true: it's hard to keep the apartment warm in the winter. It was pretty mildewy, especially in the bathroom, where there is no heater or window for ventilation (also freezing for getting out of the shower in February!). There was also no place in the shower to put your stuff, not a single shelf or shower caddy, which is a minor inconvenience that could be easily solved to improve guests' stay. Another small thing that others have noted: there were no kitchen basics like salt or oil. While we certainly didn't expect much in the kitchen, it seems a bit ridiculous that every guest should have to buy those basics that they would only be using a little of. Again, a small thing that could make a big difference in guests' stay. Lastly, the apartment was pretty dark with barely any natural light, which wasn't a huge deal to us as we were out all day, but for long stays it definitely makes a difference.
