A series of small disappointments that add up. Sliding bathroom / bedroom doors required crowbar to move. Not a single coffee or tea cup, no lamps. QR code instructions that did not work, blinking light switches lighting up bedroom. Heaters with hidden on switches and no instructions. Stingy 2 rolls of TP for a 10 day stay. Relative to many other properties we've stayed in this one's value didn't match the high price. But... it had location going for it.

“Nice apartment near old town of Girona”

The best

The apartment was located perfectly in Girona city center, within walking distance from the train station. It had plenty of space for two people. The kitchen was well equipped (but needs a knife sharpener). The wifi worked great - we were both able to work and hold video meetings at the same time without issues. In addition, the apartment had a dishwasher, washing machine, smart TV and soundbar. The apartment was clean, warm even during winter time, and had plenty of natural light. The building has a small elevator, that fits two people or one person with a bike :)

To be improved

While we had booked a stay for 12 nights, we had the same amount of amenities as short term stays. Meaning we only had 2 toilet paper rolls, 2 dishwasher capsules, and very little dish soap (also no detergent for washing machine). When we requested for refills, we were told that they do not provide this, and we were forced to buy our own amenities. When we asked for clean towels in the middle of our stay, they only offered them for an additional fee. This felt very unfair, as we had booked a longer stay which would require replacing or refilling amenities.

“Had a lovely time in an apartment well located to explore a delightful city”

Good location. Very comfortableapartment. Overall well equiped with good quality appliances.

To be improved

No bedside lights in room. Slightly strange collection of drinking glasses. Only one wine glass. Several of the glasses had chipped rims and cracks. There is a large airconditioning unit for the apartment located in the main living area but the bedroom took a long time to cool down.
