Bright apartment with terrace, pool and beach

Customer service definitely lacking. We were provided two rolls of toilet paper for a week's stay for 4 people. Contacted host via Booking, had to ask again the next day. Was finally informed it would be provided - safe to say it wasn't. Additionally, there was a limited amount of shampoo and one of the bottles was very clearly tampered with and watered down, it was more runny than the other ones. That's etremely unsafe.

This apartment shows a lovely view and says it is beachfront with a private beach. We booked for 3 weeks (not cheap) but thought it sounded ideal as just wanted to relax on the terrace and go for little walks on the beach front. On arrival at the apartment we couldn't access the gate with the code they had given. Fortunately someone was going in and let us through As it was dark when we arrived we couldn't see much . We unpacked and went to bed. The following morning we were woken up by the most horrendous noise. At the back and the front of the apartment there are massive building works going on. This went on from 8 till 6 Monday to Friday. Reported to both booking. Com and flat management. Owners said noise was minimal but absolutely awful. Was never informed of this before booking so basically the lovely photo is a lie. They have refused any form of compensation and also stopped replying to our messages. The beach is over half a mile away No shops within walking distance. Definitely need a car . No information in apartment on how to use appliances although they said there was and ignored us when we asked. Spain doesn't have private beaches we asked at an estate agengy doing holiday rentals . Booking .com offered £25. Speaking to someone at booking. Com is like talking to a robot.At the front of the apartment a new block of 6 storey apartments are being built and at the back 4 storey apartment's are being built. Work is ongoing and looks like it will for a while. We sent photos and videos to both management and booking .com. First time ever for a 3 week holiday which we had saved up for as retired. Completely ruined. Also it says 2 terraces. It's just one long one. Pointless anyway if you can't sit there with the noise. Back in the UK now and are going to seek legal action as totally missold holiday

Location wasn't ideal for us as most places were a taxi ride away.

Extensive very noisy building works at front & rear of apartment made it impossible to use terrace. Poor communication from host. Would not have stayed if host had advised of building issues.
