“Dirty. First room reeked of cigarettes. Changed room and it was better, but both rooms had hair.and dirt around the bathroom. Beds were pretty worn out. TVs were messed up.”

Nice room - perhaps some people might find the whole hotel a bit... well, stark? But I rather liked it - I chose to view it as an example of 'uncluttered minimalism'...

To be improved

Nothing - it was all good. I suppose, if I were to be very picky, I would just mention that it would have been nice if the bar staff had been a bit less grumpy... After a long drive from Madrid, I walked into the bar at 3.59pm not realising (why would I?) that they were on the point of closing at 4... I only wanted a beer, so it was hardly going to eat into their siesta time. They gave me the beer but it was a shame they hadn't been a bit more welcoming - a particular shame because the rest of the staff were charming. Maybe they'd just had a bad day on the bar. Anyway, as a traveller, if that's the worst thing that happens in your day, it hasn't been such a bad day for you, has it?
