“A nice stay and relaxing most of the time.”

The best

The living room and kitchen were spacious with the kitchen window opening up to the outside. The property is at a secluded part of the development and has private views. The outside area is lovely with space to relax.

To be improved

The shower has a tendency to spill water out onto the bathroom floor. There isn’t a shower bar either and you cannot have a shower with it fixed to the wall as the angle causes the floor to flood. There is a bath mat which soaks up water however it causes annoyance with having to drain and dry it out. It is evident from the excessive peeling of the bathroom door and frame and rotting beading that this has gone on for some time. The bedroom doors need planing as they stick to the floor, making it very difficult to fully close the bedroom doors. There wasn’t a smoke alarm anywhere in the property and with bars on the bedroom windows, it caused concern of how you could escape the property in case of a fire. There was a lack of spare bin liners and washing machine detergent. A dog sometimes barks opposite the main bedroom window, sometime late at night, so the property isn’t entirely peaceful.

“Good place to stay in Maspalomas”

The best

A lot of space in the apartment. Good outside area with a lot of privacy. Great view over the city down to the sea. Private parking spot just outside the residence as well as a small supermarket. Vanessa, the local host, was very kind and helpful, muchas gracias !

To be improved

Bedroom door difficult to close. No matresses for the two huge wooden banks on the terrace. One neighbouring house (in front of the entrance door) with two loud dogs. Adding small bedside tables would be great.

“Calm location in modern bungalow”

The best

Nice hostess, who let us in earlier than check-in time without extra cost. Appreciated! Really nice view, wonderful outside area with your own small pool. Secluded, you can sunbathe naked if you want to :) Modern bungalow, nicely decorated. Good washing mashine as well as dishwasher. Clean. A lot of cats and dogs at the neighbours. Wifi on the whole good for video calls and streaming movies. I used the hallway table as a desk while working, perfect. Good wardrobe space. Really close to a medium sized grocery store Spar, and not far from a larger one. A bottle of water when we arrived. We are happy to some day be able to return to this place!

To be improved

Location: it is far from the ocean and there is not many good restaurants in the area. Uncomfortable sofa (we put a lot of pillows in it which solved the problem), a bit uncomfortable beds (we put two mattresses on one of the single beds which became really comfortable). We only had one key, witch was a problem a few times. Two cockroaches the last evening, otherwise really clean och nice. A bit to few utensils in the kitchen, but we managed. The pool was ok temperature but could be warmer if some sort of pool cover could be provided that guest could put over it during the nights. The doors to the bedrooms are difficult to open and close (due to a water damage in the floor, perhaps because of bad draining from the shower? The water kept going on the bathroom floor, maybe not all are wiping it up?). Could be a problem if you are traveling with smaller children.

Big apartment, very clean, private parking place very useful, very private garden with a lot of privacy with a great view of the city, the dunes and the ocean. Very quiet, very well equipped with everything you need
