“Worst experience in two weeks in Soain”
Two blocks from the beach, grocery store near by. Gas a large fridge. However No WiFi, No parking.
Worst experience in two weeks in Spain. This is a holiday short term rental business, the reception was difficult to find and was 2km away from the actual apartment, one of several they rent all over town. Reception team did not speak English. This business is run on the premise that short term clients will clean the apartment on exit as you are required to sign a contract on arrival stipulated that clients will clean the apartment, wash dry and put away dishes and remove all garbage under threat of being fined 70 Euros from a security deposit you give them and they withhold for up to a week after you leave. No WiFi. They Do Not supply towels ( rent them for 10 euros each), they Do Not supply dish detergent, or cleaning supplies, nor soap, shampoo, spare toilet rolls, garbage bags. We did not know any of these details until after we booked and paid up front 100 Euros for two nights non refundable. They took 150 euro hold on our credit card as security deposit. There is No wifi., which is crucial as we are visitors and do not have cell phone or data. We found this apartment dirty,dark and dank smelling. There is no aircon. Windows are dirty, curtains need cleaning, steel roller blinds are rusty. It deperately needs a deep clean, bathroom and the floors all felt grimey and not clean, there was dust and dirt in corners and under beds. I don't believe the company does any thorough cleaning between guests , shower fixture leaked and very little water pressure, bed had two clean sheets, but quilt smelled bad like it had not been laundered for a long time. Bathroom fixtures need a sanitised cleaning. Kitchen stove looked dirty, dishes were all greasy as prior guests had wash and dry and put away without dish detergent, dishes were a hodgepodge of mismatched several plates but only 3 bowls. No kettle, no toaster. We did not cook, only used the microwave to boil water.
