“Amazing location but needs an upgrade”

Location to beach. Layout of complex, our bungalow had a pool view and great terrace area. No early morning rush for sunbeds. We had a family bereavement, so we couldn't travel the first week as planned, staff were so nice and helpful to us when I rang them ,couldn't have done more for us. We really appreciated their kindness.

To be improved

Very poor air-conditioning, lack of availability of fans to hire. Regular cleaning of Bungalow was poor, sheets only changed every 7 days!! General maintenance of accommodation could be improved. No restaurant available in the complex for the first few days of our stay. The swimming pool was very deep so unfortunately my husband could not use it as he can't swim.

“My overall impression is a nice place that leaves you alone and lets you get on with it, in a beauti”

The best

It's a lovely complex of self contained bungalows, with balconies. A small pretty beach is directly across the road down the hill within 5 minutes. The complex had a bar staffed by a friendly chap who gave the place a sense of humanity. If you like cats then you will be visited by the 2 onsite animals who will lay on your porch and talk to you when you get in at the end of the day.

To be improved

No aircon or fans but I did not expect it for the price and do not mind heat. I came to Lanzarote to be hot. THere was a Nespresso machine but no caffietierre or bialetti pot - I prefer the old school methods

“We loved the complex and thought it was good value for the money. However we felt it was a bit tired and needed updatin”

We liked the spaciousness of the complex. We liked the large terrace at the bungalow, with our own sunloungers. We liked the fact that the beds were comfortable. We liked the quietness of the complex.

To be improved

We didn’t like that there wasn’t any air conditioning. We felt that the bungalows needed tidying up and painting. We don’t like that none of the cupboard doors or room doors closed properly. Didn’t like that the pool needed cleaning and scrubbing cleaning.
