Everything, the location the interior, but most of all, the kindness of Carlota.

“I will regret if I never get to return here.”
There's so much to list here as it was one of the best lodging experiences I have had in travels throughout the EU, USA, AU, and NZ. What really sets it apart is the personal service you receive. Excellent communication from the moment of booking and it really feels like they are happy to have you as a guest. Even moreso, they (and everyone I encountered in Priorat) seem so open and welcoming and eager to share their corner of the world with you. Sure, I have stayed in "fancier" hotels or properties, but this stay had a very special intangible feeling of comfort. The included breakfast is a very short walk away 5 mins max at a VERY slow pace, and was outstanding. Made to order with options that you would expect in rural Spain. I didn't even remember that breakfast was included so it was certainly a very pleasant surprise. There is definitely wifi here as I was given the password and there was a wifi mesh router located in my room. I didn't use it though because my mobile (voda ES) worked perfectly fine there. Please be aware that if you are mobility challenged, there are cobblestone streets here with moderate grades as well as stairs to get to even the lowest floor accommodation.

“Room with great views of the Priorate Wine region.”
We enjoyed staying in Cal Campana. It was a great location for traveling to all the wineries in the Priorat region. The town was very quiet during our stay. The view from our window of the town and surrounding area was amazing. The room was large and had a king bed with 2 small chairs. The bed was comfortable. It was easy to communicate with the owners through WhatsApp. You will need a car to get to this location. I do not recommend driving through the center of town where the streets are very narrow. It's very easy to walk in any direction from the periphery of the town. There is a fully stocked community kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, oven, and stove that can be used by all the guests. We really enjoyed eating tapas at the Slate Wine Bar in the lower level of the building.
There are several flights of steps that could be difficult for some people but were fine with us.
