“This is a scam. Booking.com takes payment in advance but the property does not honour the bookings.”

This is a scam. Booking.com took our payment in advance. On the day of arrival, we sent a message to the property to see how about we collect the keys, etc. They replied saying that they're no longer in business and they had communicated this several times to Booking.com. Has we had any more notice, we would have been able to look for alternatives, as opposed to looking last minute in high season. Do not book this propertyl
