“Beautiful but not a relaxing experience”

Unfortunately, our stay wasn’t as relaxing as we had hoped. Despite the glowing reviews, we found the owner to be less warm and welcoming than expected. While we appreciate the importance of house rules, the tone and manner of the check-in made us feel overly cautious from the outset. We had already been sent a long list of rules related to the dog:) This sense of unease was reinforced by reminders throughout our stay about what we should or shouldn’t do. It’s clear that a great deal of time and care has gone into the property — and that the owners live there — which may explain the somewhat possessive atmosphere. It felt less like a guesthouse and more like being a guest in someone’s private home, with a constant worry of doing something wrong. At €245 per night, we also felt it was overpriced, particularly given that breakfast wasn’t included. Finally, being told at checkout that our miniature schnoodle was considered a 'medium dog' and would incur a charge of €13 per night — along with being questioned about whether she weighed under 8kg (which she did) — felt unnecessary and left a disappointing end to our stay.

“Peaceful and relaxing stay”

The best

The property is nicely decorated. The rooms are spacious and have everything needed. The owner was very lovely, helpful and, engaging. She allowed to swim in the big pool even late and night which was fab! Breakfast is a must.

It is rare that you find this thoughtful attention to detail anywhere. The hosts have truly put their heart and soul into this place. It is comfortable and spacious, decorated to the T, and views you never want to leave.

“Heaven. Loved every moment”

This is an incredible place. The owners are superb and every detail was perfect. We arrived to a lovely welcome , Cava was served and the pool was so appealing so my wife and I chilled whilst our Tapas was being prepared. Sunset moment from the terrace it felt like we were in a movie. We slept so well in a beautiful air conditioned room, the bath products was so good that we bought as many as we could from the cute little shop they have. Breakfast overlooking the mountains and a beautiful send off to send us on our way. This place is truly magical. We will be back again and again.
