Cala Llenya Resort Ibiza

Frequent visitors to Ibiza, we know the beach of Cala Lllenya well but never stayed here. The resort is superb. Clean, excellent accommodation and the food is good. Staff very friendly and we had an amazing stay. Things to be aware of - the resort is VERY remote, there is a bakery at the back of the hotel with a spa shop but that literally is it. It's a walk to the beach up and down a steep hill so you do need a car if you want to leave the hotel. SHout out to Olaf, to us he was the star staff member.

The hotel was very clean, all the staff were so nice and helpful, the food was amazing, with a really good selection for all meals. There are two pools, a family one and a adult one, we spent most the time at the family one as there was music, drinks etc there and it has a great deep end and loads of sunbeds to choose from at any time of day, there were more in the shade than I expected, but families with smaller kids would appreciate that. We didn't have our kids with us but they would have loved it too! The rooms were a great size with much needed Aircon. The beautiful beaches are only a short walk away. The only thing is as we went beginning of September, it wasn't crazy busy I assume as schools in the UK were mainly back, depending on inset days, I don't know if it would be a different experience in the peak of summer, as I imagine there would be evening entertainment, and lots more people wanting sunbeds?

As my second time at the resort, I always have an amazing time. The vibe is super chilled and not too big of a resort, so it is very luxurious. It’s really family friendly throughout the day and into the night entertainment. There are also themed evenings with a variety of music and shows. As a couple without children we had a very relaxing time. There is a massive main pool that can be very quiet and then buzzy. There is also an adult only pool if you want to read. A short walk to beautiful cove beach, a short drive to the main hippy market and being north of the island - away from the parties - make it a very peaceful and accessible resort. The buffet is full of all different types of foods with additional cuisine themed nights meaning that you never get bored of the food! Breakfast is amazing. 10 out 10 every time for Cala Llenya Resort. Looking forward to our next visit already

Recently returned from Cala Lenya resort and the whole family had a great time! It has a good sized family pool, great for keeping the kids entertained, along with waterpolo and aqua aerobics. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool and a handy shaded area if the heat gets too much! A great football/ tennis/ volleyball floodlight astoturf area for the kids and adults alike. The nightly entertainment was varied and of good quality and would cater for most needs. Would have been good to see some traditional flamenco dancers or salsa maybe? The bar around the pool has a chilled vibe and I thought was reasonably priced offering some nice snacks and meals. Also enjoyed some Ibizan melodic tunes in the background adding to the laidback feel to the area. The restaurant offers a modern, well air conditioned and quality nightly themed menu that would suit most tastes, the free drink with your meal I thought was a nice touch. The resort itself was clean and well maintained, a bus bus stop is conveniently positioned outside the hotel to get out and about. We used the taxis which were efficient,clean and reasonably priced. The reception, restaurant, bar staff, cleaners, grounds maintenance and entertainment all went out their way to speak, smile and help in anyway they could- nothing was too much trouble. A great 10 day stay at Cala Lenya resort and would happily recommend for those wishing to stay around that area.

Just back home after 8 nights with 12 members of the family to celebrate my 70th birthday. Family included 6 grandchildren ranging from 10 down to 2. We had a great time—paddling pool for the toddlers and the main pool for the older children and adults. Spacious rooms, good food choice, mostly good entertainment, near the beach, good taxi availability and friendly staff. Special mention for Felipe and Consuela in the dining room who were always helpful and Paco who seemed to work all day every day keeping guests happy. All in all a great stay.

This is the third visit for my husband and I, and we love the peaceful friendly atmosphere, especially the relaxing adults only pool! The grounds are very well kept, and the food choice is always excellent, though could be kept hotter on the hot plates. The nearby beach is so beautiful, though the walk down is definitely for the fitter people. A car is a must for exploring if you don’t enjoy walking too much. It is close enough for a taxi to Las Dalias for the fabulous Hippie market, and if it’s your thing, the wonderful Akasha x we will definitely visit again x
