“Great hotel in a quiet part of Mahon”

The best

It is a nice hotel, clean and comfy. The breakfast was great offering a nice selection of food for all tastes. The rooms are spacious, simple and clean.

To be improved

The checking in and checking out is a nightmare. All hotels follow the same rules and yet this one decided to have a complex check in process taking over 30 minutes. Never ending explanations, questions, information, filling up the forms. In other hotels the admin is being done by the hotel staff, here, you do it yourself.

Recently modernised. Bright and sunny decor. Lovely pools, spotlessly clean. Fantastic staff. Very helpful and welcoming. Very good Breakfast Buffet.

To be improved

We felt there wasn’t sufficient equipment, crockery and cutlery in the studio’s. The sofa (bed) was most uncomfortable to sit on. The cover was plastic which got very hot and sticky. We resorted to covering it with large towels from housekeeping. The menu at the restaurant was quite basic with quite a few ‘fast food ‘ dishes. No ‘specials of the day’ to show imagination and freshly cooked dishes. As we stayed a fortnight we ate there a few evenings but travelled to surrounding areas to experience traditional Menorcan cuisine.
