Excellent location - lovely balcony to enjoy sun in the morning. Quiet place!

Very poor communication from the owners. We contacted them prior and during our journey to Fuertaventura but only got a response from them after Trip advisor assisted us and that was while we were on the transfer bus there so obviously we were a little stressed. On arrival, there were 3 flights of stairs we had to go up with our luggage ( no lift) . When we got in it appeared to be clean, basic but fine however after a few hours of settling in we realised both of the only 2 lamps did not work and there was no air conditioning. We couldn't leave windows/doors open due to mosquitos. In the kitchen there was only one socket, presumably for the kettle and toaster, but when we put the kettle on the socket, the socket tripped the electric for the whole apartment. We tried the toaster, and it did the same, so that was unusable. There was a low-level space where we presume a washer or underbench fridge may have been which had a socket. It was just as well that we took an extention of our own so that at least we could use them on the bench and not the floor. The towels that were left for us had an extremely musky foisty smell about them when we used them so we bought some washing pods for the washing machine, that was in the bathroom and put them on a boil wash to get rid of the smell. The single bed I slept in was so uncomfortable. It had an indentation from I presume someone who may have used it for quite sometime so no matter how I tried to get comfortable I just rolled back into that space therefore I had very poor/ little sleep for the whole week. The best thing about the apartment was it's location but personally, we would not recommend this private apartment, especially in the warmer months.

It was nice accomodation, great location, big apartment, I can recommend it!
