Great location, quiet even though conveniently close to wonderful attractions, food,and must see monuments. Great value for money. Kitchen had all we needed.

Great location, lovely apartment, comfortable beds, full kitchen, extremely clean

parties until 3am on three of the first five days we stayed from neighboring apartments, little hot water flow, maintenance people barged into the apartment when we were in a shower with no prior notification, leaking roof made sleeping in one of the beds a very wet experience

The best

The apartment is located right in the centre of Madrid an excellent location for walking to shops, restaurants, bars and sights. The kitchen was well equipped and there was air conditioning which we didn't need. The WiFi was good. The decoration was quirky, lots of religious items and a real animal skin rug I believe.

To be improved

Gaining access was a nightmare for us, we had a very delayed car journey and arrived tired and hungry at 2115 on a Saturday night. As mentioned by a different reviewer (so the hosts must have known) the internet based entry system doesn't always work and it didn't for us (android phone?). We had to wait 1 hour for someone to let us in, all the time worrying if the police were going to move us on. The apartment isn't very well soundproofed either from the outside and next door, given that the people of Madrid don't seem to sleep much and talk a lot, getting sleep wasn't easy.
