“Superb location needs renovation”

The best

Beautifully situated amongst huge pine trees, offering shadow. Spacious apartment with lots of privacy, excellent internet, very suitable for work space. Large roof terrace, with great views, wonderful to enjoy meals! Superb garden with cactusses. Supermarket and bakery just across the street. The large, quiet beach is only a 5 minutes’ walk away. Very helpful staff, who did their best to fix the problems we encountered. We were offered two electric stoves to replace the dangerous gas stove.

To be improved

Malfunctioning,dirty, very old gas stove. Frequently, fire suddenly stopped, hardly noticable, while gas was still flowing, extremely dangerous!! We were promised that the stove would be replaced as soon as possible. Be sure to check whether this has actually been done before renting this apartment! We slided off the unstable couch/folding bed and almost broke our neck! After complaining, this was exchanged with the couch from the apartment downstairs. As with the stove, we were told that it would be renewed. Be sure to check this as well! The winding stairs to the roof terrace were full of rusting holes, and therefore quite dangerous as well, especially for those with over-average weight! About this as well, we shared our concern with the staff.
