Special thanks to all the volunteers who keep places like that alive! They were always caring and helpful in every situation.
You really can unwind and explore the beautiful nature surrounding the area.
There is a possibility for vegan food made with fresh ingredients and access to hiking in the nearby mountains.
Family dinners were always very good and plentiful.
While there were enjoyable aspects, the overall experience was heavily marred by cleanliness and safety concerns.
Far below any basic standards of accommodation; disappointing value.
“I left.”
Had no electricity, the place is no.

“Hasta luego mis amigos de Camino”
I've never been to this hippie ish, family ish vibe place. Camino also has several caves. I stayed in one. Just perfect. You can stay using tents too. Pretty large space, you can take walks. Two dogs Dublin and Coco. We've made good friendship. Walked along the trail day and night. Volunteers there, so kind mis amigos. Told me about many hiking trails. Connected me to a guy in the southern part of the island. He has many caves. There I spent some nights and learned a lot too. Pretty close to Vega de San Mateo. I walked there pretty often. Friday to Sunday, local market selling fruits and many things. To the highest peak of the island, Pico de Las Nieves, you can start walking from Camino. You can rent a car from the airport and look around the island. Or just 1 minute walk from Camino, there is a bus station. To Las Palmas, many guaguas(buses). every 30 minutes. Even after midnight, 2am, 6am and so on.
There is no place in the world that suits everyone. If you are drawn to the place, you'll stay. If not, you leave.

“Great short stay in an enchanted place. Thanks! 🌈”
The most hippie place I have been to. Garden part blew me away 😆 Really cool people and hostel itself. Good price. You can buy a meal from the kitchen Some interesting eco friendly solutions
Hmmm...I think the fact that there was only one bathroom
“Superb”
Great Atmosphere! Everybody was very friendly, volunteers and very nice guests too. Felt like home. Plus spectacular Nature/Views in front of the house and very big "playground" ;)
