“Initial appearance put us off.”

We loved the appearance on the website. We have had respectful correspondence with the owner. But we didn't stay. He has told us if we had gone in and seen where we would have been staying we would have felt differently. It's clear from reviews (and I mistakenly failed to look at the most recent) that people either really love this place or they don't, not much in between. The ethos sounds wonderful.

To be improved

We looked from the fence into the site and it didn't look anything like the photos - we are on a camping trip so not on a luxury holiday but this was not a place we wanted to go into.
