advert is inaccurate - there is no basement sitting area, access is challenging for any one with immobility and instructions not accurate or detailed enough access off main road is at an acute angle and steep, detail of how to get there were inadequate, at the top of the switch-back road there is a green electric gate that needs opening and there is no name plate, there was no indication of gates existence and no instructions on how to open it, once through gate no direction as to were house is (there are 4 houses on plot with no name plates) once parked there is a 80 meter walk to access to shack and the last 20 meters is a 45 degree slope (there were steps at side of concrete incline) this would have been very challenging if you have any degree of immobility (this is not clear in advert) very very basic kitchen apart from microwave and kettle, it would have been impossible to cook even a basic meal, table with two chairs was the only place to sit, no lounge or comfortable chairs, space was very restricted. see pictures. breakfast was bread/cheese/jam and tea (that we had brought - coffee pods redundant), no coffee pod machine or french press, no paper filters machine that was present, bedding and towels clean but old and mediocre quality double bed was 2 single mattresses (common in europe) but not zipped or connected together so gapping space between them developed, tiny storage cupboards for clothes, shower was hot but the shape of a wedge of cake and narrow so to wash ones feet was a challenge, we had excellent weather so we're okay as spent vast majority of the day in the local environs, if you had inclement weather it's not a place to spend time easily for us it was €300 a night! we could have had a really nice hotel in town for that.
