Verified reviews from real guests who have already stayed here.
Service was described as standard but with some negative interactions as the owner was intrusive.
Very good location, though proximity to a cemetery and crematorium caused discomfort.
Despite the drawbacks, guests had a nice time overall.
Overall, the experience was pleasant despite many issues; could have better value.
Limited options for dining inside due to space constraints, required to eat outside.
Lacked essential amenities like a coffee maker and there were issues with kitchen tools.
“Beautiful views in fabulous location but needs some updating”
The location is fabulous, just a 10 minute walk downill into Soller Town. The views over Soller to the Sea are beautiful and the location is very quiet, surrounded by farmland, orange and lemon trees. The property is an ideal size for 2 people and was very clean when we arrived.
The owner meets you to hand over the keys and was 35 minutes late, it was a very hot day and we had shopping to put in the fridge. He also came to clean the pool at 7.15am one morning, moving the sunbeds and the patio table around right outside our bedroom window. We were woken up with the noise and did not feel comfortable getting dressed/showered while he was right outside. On our final day our check out time was 10am, we packed the previous night and planned to have one last dip in the pool, shower and breakfast outside before we left. The owner and his wife arrived at 8.15am and started cleaning the outside area and pool, which stopped us having access. We felt we had no option but to stay inside, although we had paid for the use of the property until 10am,- this is not acceptable. The sunbeds are poor quality, old and very saggy and very uncomfortable, there is also no umbrella around the pool so to get any shade you have to carry your sunbed down the steps, and keep moving the patio table to get your sunbeds under the terrace. The towels and bedding are a mix and match of colours, sizes and quality and the kitchen is very limited on utensils, and some are very old. The air-conditioning is only in the lounge, the bedroom is off the lounge but round the corner and does not benefit from the air-con much at all so was very warm at night. The owners are a lovely elderly couple who only speak Spanish and obviously want to look after things themselves, I think the experience would be much improved if the Property Management Company looked after the check in, pool maintenance and cleaning. Unfortunately much as we loved the area and the property is in a great location we would not return.
“Excellent location great outside facilities inside house needs a little more TLC”
The outside facilities Pool and patio area are excellent
Inside the house needs improving Microwave was faulty not safe to use, toaster also not working
“Idyllic villa in a superb location. If you are not bothered about glitzy flash accommodation & more about peace, nat”
The location is fantastic as it’s so peaceful all you hear are the cockerels, sheep & the bells from the goats in the hills. Surrounded by lemon trees just stunning! The views across to Soller are fabulous.
The beds were not the most comfortable but it was always such a joy the come back to the villa & dip in the pool after a long journey.
“Exceptional”
“As always, a lovely week at Can Fabiol. The house is getting to look rather tired. Needs updating!”
Wonderful location
Kitchen facilities limited and tatty
“Such a lovely place to unwind”
We arrived in the middle of the night, following a journey from hell... to find the owner waiting for us. Speaking no English, but enough gestures to understand we were welcomed to Can Fabiol. Next morning revealed just how perfect out holiday was going to be. Beautifully appointed private space, shaded terrace, cooling sparkly clean pool and no neighbours... views over Soller and a peace filled with only a gentle breeze and birds song. Wonderful. Can Fabiol is about a 7-10min downhill stroll to town, taking longer back up. And had pretty much everything you need. This is not a bling bling place, so if that's what you prefer, don't come here. We love it, it's a perfect get away from it all. If you're hiring a car, be prepared for very tiny streets, so get a small one!
