Sheets were filthy, it was extremely loud during the night making it impossible to sleep. On top of that, it says there was a TV which didn’t work and after asking if someone could fix it no one ever came. I forgot a sweater at the property and they charge a €50 shipping fee to send it to Barcelona, is it getting delivered by taxi or what?? Absolute rip off

The best

The apartment is as pictured, very charming, spacious with lovely wood beams. The terrasse is a bonus. The location was good with easy access to shops etc. Great view over the Cork museum which was very interesting. Gemma was very responsive and dealt with issues promptly. We really enjoyed our stay here. Buses are easy to manage and getting to Calella de Palafrugell was very easy either by bus or walking. Sunny weather helped after a couple of weeks of rain.

To be improved

Be aware that this lovely apartment is on the third floor and there is no elevator. This apartment would be even better if there were a few extra amenities like extra toilet paper and dishwasher tabs.

The best

Nice historic property with all the facilities you will need. Top floor and middle floor apartments (no lift) have nice terraces. Heating and ceiling fans available. Good kitchen facilities. Recommended if you want flexibility. Private parking not far away.

To be improved

Beds could be more comfortable and linen improved. An extra bed we had in our apartment wasn't made up and although we did not need it, we could have used it for visitors having paid for it! Palafrugell is dead in winter (we were exploring) and siestas are in full swing in this area between 1.30 and 4pm. You have to sign a contract and pay up in full upon arrival - process felt a little mechanical and eager from the property managers!
