“Rural accommodation with minor discomfort”
The best

Nice and friendly hosts, but no languages spoken except Spanish. The unit is a renovated traditional stone building with two floors (bedroom upstairs, the rest on the ground floor), and it has all amenities, but the furniture is a bit outdated and old. The bathroom is nice but it has no ventilation so it smells like a cellar. Pay parking is around 500m away, while you can also possibly find free street parking around 500m away (if you are lucky). We had cold weather and the first day the apartment was not yet heated up properly.

To be improved

The double bed and also the single bed are shorter than usual and the matrasses were a bit worn out. There is only one small window in the ground floor and therefore you always need to switch on the lights, and it feels like this is an underground bunker. Not so fancy for 5 days.

Small town-close proximity to the Plaza Major, Dona Rose era exceptional, municipal pool, el Forn, sitting in the garden at Can Llorenc, hiking in the mountains, visiting Parc Adventura.

To be improved

There is no air conditioning, but a fan would be useful.

“Beautiful city with a value-for-money stay”
The best

Location of Can Llorenç is excellent and the whole atmosphere of the terrace is amazing. The security of the place is good since it's always locked. The apartment was very well heated which was important because it was very cold in the nights. Value for money because we got it cheap. All the dishes and cutlery were provided. Caretaker allowed us to leave bags in a space until our bus time.

To be improved

The apartment had the bedroom upstairs and the bathroom downstairs - very inconvenient. There were ants in the kitchen due to the way the garbage was kept open. The mattresses were spring so very uncomfortable. The sofa was also very old and uncomfortable. No salt or pepper or olive oil in the apartments. The caretaker was fussy- refused to provide kitchen towels or tissue paper (only toilet paper), refused for a daily change of towels.

“Comfy apartment in Prades”
The best

Big and comfy space with everything you need for your stay: full kitchen and utensils, living room (in the same area), nice bathroom and a big bedroom upstairs. The apartments are located in a street below the main square of the village. It was perfect for our stay during a race and to enjoy the snow falling during the night!

To be improved

Depending on the people staying in the other apartments the place can become a bit noisy. It's a bit pricey if you plan to spend most of your time outdoors.
