“Location is great, facilities good but needs a refresh”

Location and facilities. I mentioned that the coffee machine was broken when we arrived and a new one was delivered the next morning.

To be improved

It looked a bit like the villa was due its '5 year refresh'. The double bed downstairs had a huge dip in the mattress that rolled occupants together. The air conditioner in that room was noisy as well. The dogs from the adjoining building (where the cleaners live I think) would come and bark at the gate for ages when we used the pool. We had to wait until 17:30 for the cleaners to finish on the day we arrived - we had advised we would arrive between 15:00 and 16:00. Why do welcome packs only ever include one or two dishwasher tablets? We are there for week and will be using it every day. It means you have to buy a bow of 12 minimum, amnd none ever seem to be left over for the next tennant! the greenery around the pool was nice but a real mosquito base of operations! everyone got bitten quite a lot even though we used insect repellent. A regular spray of the bushes by a contractor would make things more enjoyable

Villa was fantastic, very comfortable for a party of 8. Requires a little update in places, downstairs bathroom looking a little tired and very unpleasant regular drain smells. Pool and outside area was fantastic. Lots of well needed sheltered areas from the Sun. Pool was perfect for cooling down in the hot sunny days. Recommended movable ramps in step areas to assist with Wheelchair user. Mirrors and bins needed in upstairs bedroom. Beach and Centre approx 15 min easy walk away.

To be improved

Very bad drain smells from Kitchen and Downstairs bathroom on a regular basis. Not too much hot water.

The best

It was peaceful, private and with everything we needed for a mixed age group holiday. There was plenty of space for relaxing in the sun around the pool, or in the shade of the front terrace and covered outdoor dining area and the interior was cool even in the heat of the midday sun. It was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was in easy walking distance of the town and beach, and there were some spectacular walking routes accessible from the front door.
