The best

The proprietor was friendly and helpful when we saw her! The aircon was efficient and the view of the square was charming. The village itself was quiet and felt very untouristy.

To be improved

This is a budget hotel and operated as such. We called the owner when we arrived and she showed us our very small room. It wasn't her fault that it was 35° but the café below, which was advertised as a brilliant place, serving breakfast and meals was closed for the holidays. The only other option was quite a walk away. The staff were never around to ask for suggestions and faced with another night in relative discomfort, we de-camped to a more attractive option. To be fair, the owner offered us a discount on the second night and a possible change of room and we parted on friendly terms. I think she should have warned us in advance about the café- it would have made all the difference. Be warned- it is not suitable for those with mobility problems.
