“Apartment in idyllic village”
This apartment absolutely exceeded our expectations. First of all, we were warmly welcomed by the host, who led us to the entrance and showed us the apartment. It is in an old building in the village center in front of a church. The interior is clean and modern, and the bed was very comfortable. The design of the apartment and the love for little details show that it was designed by someone who put a lot of heart into it. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped. We felt very comfortable during the whole stay. The location is a good compromise between distance to the nearest beach and the usual sightseeing places of Costa Brava while not being overrun by tourists. We would definitely stay there again.
Although it didn't bother us at all, some people might not like the following things: -It has a light smell typical for old vaulted cellars -Gaps between the entrance door and the door frame allow ants to march into the apartment, so better keep the floor clean of crumbs. -There is a small bar/restaurant directly in front of the entrance door. It's not very loud, but on some days, it can be heard on the inside.
“So lovely I look forward to coming back.”
It is such a pretty place and well thought out. Josep went above and beyond to make my stay perfect.
Theirs nothing I didn’t like
“Exceptional”
A lovely jewel of a renovation of a cave in a tiny village of La Pera. The owner has managed to include everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Very tastefully thought out & well equipped. Situated in the church square there are no cars allowed but parking is a short walk away & you can drive in to unload your bags. A small tienda is close by for fresh bread & produce. Josep the owner is quick to answer any questions & easy to deal with.
