“A relaxing family holiday in a beautiful spacious appartment by the sea.”

Communication via booking.com was easy and prompt. We loved the location, the car park, the lift for luggage, the balconies and bedrooms, overall the apartment was ideal for us. The kettle was faulty and was quickly replaced on request. The beds were comfortable and the linen and towels were provided and of good quality. The crib was a cute addition even if we didn't need it. The neighbourhood was quiet and clean.

To be improved

It was exceptionally hot weather so air-conditioning would have been beneficial although we managed with the fans provided. Had we been there a week earlier when temperatures hit 37 degrees it would have been very uncomfortable. The kitchen was well equipped but lacked a pair of scissors and more than one tall mug for tea drinkers. A table cloth and two more placemats would be useful.

The best

The location was fantastic! Close to restaurants, walking paths, shops and beach. Light and bright and spacious. The master bedroom is beautiful. The double terraces are a great feature.

To be improved

A few small issues of some wear and tear. The sliding balcony door didn’t lock (wasn’t a huge issue as we still felt safe) the blind in the bedroom was a bit shabby. A cracked glass and some stains on the couch. All minor issues, just good for the owner to know if they have the property run by an agency. The deposit situation is also quite steep. So when €500 is taken upfront. You have to place a lot of trust that these minor issues won’t land on you. Thankfully this wasn’t an issue, just a small inconvenience.

We had difficulty finding the apartment needed assistance and the emergency number given did not answer. We went to the offices which were closed and remained closed for the whole time of our stay. We found another agent that was open who directed us to the property. We found the key box put in the code obtained the keys but the front door key did not work. We were let in the front door by people staying there. The key to the apartment worked and we found another set of keys in the apartment that did open the front door. We could not fault the apartment. An unfortunate start to our stay.
