The best
The location was fabulous, close to all our needs, short walk to bus, shops, supermarkets, beaches, lovely town centre with harbour. Really loved this, we kept saying we chose the perfect location, and place, lovely well-kept gardens. Yes, it's not ultra modern, but quaint with a touch of modern.
Loved the no key element to get in although, couldn't get in initially as couldn't find code message, which was sent to WhatsApp, instead of phone text messages. My mistake, brain not functioning properly after a very long day travelling, but we did get in within 15 mins after contact number near gate.
Apartment was perfect on bottom floor, so cooler, a large fan provided, it did its job although not freezing. Beds super comfy, kitchen well stocked with all utensils, everything! Including a toasty maker. Place to eat comfortably, and sit on a couch. Large TV, but we never put it on. The bedroom with door to another outside terrace, twin beds, and easy to get around, large wardrobe with everything else you might need, safe, iron, iron board, and hairdryer. The safe is old, didn't have key, but I guess, you had to ask for that. The bathroom, was clean and not too pokey, bathroom well-used though with bodged touch ups, which I don't care about, but those who expect perfection, might sneer at. Glad there were cleaning items, a mop, broom etc, as needed them to keep the place clean after beach, and daily comings and goings. The WiFi connection was perfect for two, using it both in living room and bedroom.
If we ever go back to Tenerife, I would book this apartment again. :)
To be improved
There was not much to dislike, however, there could have been some improvements.
The shower head was as much use as a chocolate teapot! No spray, just one continuous blast of water. Clogged or broken, needs replacing.
Too few electrical sockets. 1 in the bedroom, which the fan took up, 1 in the bathroom, 2 in the living room space, and 1 in the kitchen, that you had to keep swapping out plugs for microwave, coffee pot or kettle. The light switch cover came off in the living room, so they need to look at that. It was a constant battle between two of us charging up!
It's non-smoking throughout, I took that as nowhere on the property, not just inside the building as it should be! But some did on their balcony. I understand, it's not pleasant for some folks, but outside sitting on your own little terrace or balcony, having a cool drink at your own table, would have been nice rather than outside the gate.
What I truly didn't like, was some other guests going to the washing machine, to wash their clothes, by-passing our apartment, both front and back, as there was a side pathway, and was alarming at first due to hearing loud talking outside our windows. Not even sure if they were allowed to use the machine, if it is allowed, then that must be put on booking description, and notices in place for the guests to be courteous to that apartment.
Lastly, I think It's noteworthy to mention, in 10 days, we didn't have our sheets changed, our apartment cleaned or fresh clean towels nor toilet paper replaced, I had to ask the cleaner for toilet paper. We did put the sign on the door to clean, but I suspect they either didn't see it, or it was put up too late. Nonetheless, that would have made the experience perfect.
