“Beautiful yet disappointed”

The best

Location is excellent and very nice just a few minutes walk to the centre. Decoration of the house is well done and really beautiful. House is very spacious and just like photos. Host is very responsive. Teguise is really a nice town to stay for a few days. There a nice restaurants and there is a market every Sunday.

To be improved

There is a problem with opening the frontdoor of the house. It takes sometimes a lot of time to get the door opened. The fact that you can only check in from 5 pm and you have to be out of room by 10 am last day. For a fee you can check in earlier but we find this very customer unfriendly. When we entered the house there was a strong smell in the house. The house has a nice terrace but there is no special view. I thought that this would be better.

“Disappointing”

Location excellent.

To be improved

The accommodation was cold with no heaters. The electricity kept tripping out, and given that the accommodation sleeps 6, there was only enough hot water for 1 shower, without waiting an hour for it to reheat. Also, be aware that check-in is 5pm and check out is 10 am. We requested a 3pm check in and were told it was possible at a 60 euro supplement. Not an inexpensive option, and sadly, seriously under delivered.

“Characterless, poorly equipped.”

Terrible smell of Domestos on arrival. Poor quality kitchen and cooking utensils. Couldn’t get the oven to work. Tired bathrooms.

“Lovely Spacious home”

The best

Really spacious, bigger than the pictures, comfortable beds. The hot tub was absolutely amazing and added so much to the trip! Lovely, peaceful area and a parking spot within the gates. Host instructions were very clear. Convenient stores right nearby.

To be improved

The kitchen doesn't stock all utensils and basic ingredients but there is a shop 2 mins away that we bought things from. It got a little cold at night (end of Jan), as there's no heating or air con but in general i think it maintains a good temperature.
