Peaceful, perfect place to disconnect with private pool in lovely surroundings. WhatsApp concierge responsiveness was incredibly helpful and quick.

To be improved

This is a nice hotel, but not five star accommodation. It was missing a few key elements that would take it from OK to exceptional. Maintaining peacefulness has meant that atmosphere is lacking. There are simple upgrades that would improve the experience - basic but small touches such as staff checking in occasionally on guests by the pool, herbal teas and water freely available in the rooms, additional shade in rooms and at the pool, music near the pool, service quality being higher (very nice people but not a high standard except reception), additional onsite amenities onsite e.g. gym, spa etc. Overall, it feels like this hotel has all the elements to be great, but is falling short of the standard you would expect for five star accommodation anywhere else.

The coffee was excellent. The staff should learn to make tea properly. Selection not outstanding and most times coffee was brought to the table without sugar etc.

To be improved

The bathroom lighting was peculiar, particularly with the bath in almost total darkness. The tiling appeared to have been subject to penny pinching and the shower and toilet doors with round holes instead of handles an amazing display of total penny pinching. The invasion of insects under the doors could be eliminated by fitting draught exluder. The menu did not change in any way over the two weeks. I was shocked that the French fries must have been bought ready cooked and I find it hard to believe that sweet oranges were not available for juice. To call the doughy things croissants is an insult to croissants. It would surprise me if cheaper quality jams were available anywhere in Spain.
