“Lovely apartment in a aensational location.”
A lovely spacious apartment which has recently been renovated to the highest standards. Everything worked and it had all we needed to self-cater. The Cap Sa Sal complex is wonderful. Built in the 1950/60s it has a faded glamour about it which is itself compelling. To access the sea you take a lift down through the cliff and then walk through a 90m tunnel to get to the various rocky terraces and the sea. The sea is magnificent. You literally walk off a cliff directly into the water which is clean, protected in a bay and full of a wide variety of fish. A snorkler’s paradise. There is also a very large salt water swimming pool with a small bar next to it where you can buy drinks and tapas. Next door is a great restaurant for lunch. A walk around the cliffs will take you to local beaches and other restaurants. Within the main building there is a gym and an area with tennis tables and table football. Many of the tenants are obviously well heeled but wear their wealth very lightly. Not a place to show off your diamonds and latest watch. It is all very low key and extremely relaxing. We could happily have stayed for weeks.
I would have preferred to have all the bedrooms made available as opposed to just the three that were but that is a minor quibble as we still had plenty of room for the four of us. Also, whilst it is no fault of the property you do need a car if you want to buy food from local supermarkets.
“Beautifully situated on the cliffs overlooking the sea”
Beautiful views from property. Centrally located to nearby beaches, towns and restaurants
Building under significant repair/construction; pool was partially drained for two days, under repair. Lots of construction in rooms above us
“Eva is a wonderful host and this place is a hidden gem. I would highly recommend it.”
This apartment was beautiful. It was completely renovated with three modern bathrooms and three bedrooms with an option for a fourth depending on the number in your party. The view from the balcony was gorgeous. We enjoyed sitting out there and having our morning coffee and eating our meals. We loved the coffee and tea station in the apartment. The views of the sea were incredible. The location is perfect. We enjoyed taking the coastal trails each evening into neighboring sa tuna. Our teenaged daughters loved swimming out to the swim platform and paddle boarding. The water was crystal clear and perfect.
It would have made it even better if beach towels were also available at the property. Not a huge issue as we just went to a store and purchased our own.
