“A beautiful room in a beautiful neighborhood”

The best

A beautiful, stylishly decorated room in one of Granada’s most pleasant neighborhoods. Spacious, clean, well-equipped, with a balcony. There was also access to a shared kitchen and lounge area with coffee and tea. Easy self check-in, but also good communication with the owner via Booking. Quiet and peaceful, with everything within walking distance. Less convenient if you're traveling by bus or car - but that’s not why you go to Granada :)

To be improved

Like other guests, we also had trouble adjusting the shower faucet to get cooler water. Additionally, the toilet seat was very loose, but we reported it to the owner and hope that future guests won’t have this issue :) There was no air conditioning, which might be problematic during peak season - there were curtains and centrally controlled cool air ventilation. The bed was rather small for a double room, but it was comfortable.

“Fabulous accommodation and location .”

The property was beautiful. Easy to find, though catch the bus up the hill-it’s a long climb with a back pack !!!! The room was gorgeous, clean and comfortable: and there is a very pretty courtyard to sit in and have a glass of wine.

“Disappointing.”

The location was wonderful and we really enjoyed the area of Albaicin.

To be improved

The bathroom had a very unpleasant odour that even the pungent room deodoriser couldn’t hide. The duvet was far too warm to sleep under so we used towels. During our stay someone was unable to get into their room so at MIDNIGHT we were woken by someone literally trying to break the door down. It was very alarming, we didn’t know if someone was trying to break into the apartment building. Fortunately our daughter was able to get her Spanish speaking boyfriend in London to contact the owner who explained someone was locked out of their room. Thirty minutes of banging and eventually sawing and access was gained. Not a good night. No contact or apology from the owner which would have helped to smooth things over.

Really lovely stay, good location for food, bars, Alhambra, and accessing the city centre, but still quiet and chill. Clean space and comfortable bed
