Carretería 51, Historic Center Apartment

I booked this accommodation in Malaga based on the listing’s photos and description, but upon arrival, I was met with a completely different reality. The apartment had significant issues, including rust, mold, and general uncleanliness. None of which were reflected in the listing. Additionally, there was a strong sewage smell throughout the entire apartment, no heating whatsoever and the towels and bedsheets were not properly clean. These conditions made the stay extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable. We had no choice but to stay for one night, as we arrived in Malaga at 2 AM and had nowhere else to go. However, the conditions were so bad that we had to rebook a different accommodation the very next day. Despite only staying for one night, we were charged for two. I raised my concerns with the property but they refused to refund the money for the stay. We partially received our money back through Booking.com Given the misleading listing, the unacceptable conditions, and the additional cost we had to bear, I strongly advise future travelers to avoid this property at all costs.

No view, but too be honest the apartment was so nice the location was so convenient kitchen facilities were perfect everything you need.

Super dirty curtain in the bathroom ( we washed it by ourself) Very noisy washing machine that leaks A sign on the door that says that you cannot leave the keys inside the lock, and that if it gets stuck, the guest pays himself. First of all, it would be great to receive this message before you move in. Secondly, the feeling is that they have problems with the lock, but they don’t want to deal with it.

VERY noisy washing machine, windows didn’t lock (but 2 floors up so not essential) Work needs doing to repair bathroom door frame and floor area.
