Casa Acougo, Sarria

This was the absolute best stay on our Camino journey! Lucia and Sebastian were exceptional hosts! They incorporated the local traditional food into the menu and it exceeded my expectations! If you stay here, PLEASE have the dinner they offer! They even customized for me as a vegetarian! The facility was also exceptional! The room was absolutely fabulous!

Beautiful property with a wonderful host. Lucia welcomed me earlier than my check in time. She made me a beautiful lunch did my laundry and offered me an ice pack for my sore knee. Dinner and breakfast the next morning were delicious. My favorite stay on the camino by far.

The owners were so amazing! They have thought of every little detail to make a guest’s (and pilgrim’s) stay just about perfect. Dinner was one of the very best on the Camino. I love that they knew the sourcing of all their ingredients and tried to be as local as possible. I was sorry to leave so early that I could not have their breakfast too. Laundry was included in the price and the bedroom was so comfortable and peaceful. It felt like home.

Beautiful property, decorated with love and care. The owner Lu went out of her way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Great location before Sarria helps avoid crowds.

Wonderful experience at Casa Acougo. Lucia made us a delicious 5 course dinner and breakfast. We enjoyed relaxing on the terrace and looking at the territorial views.
