“Wonderful base to explore Granada”
The best

This apartment was a great base to explore Granada. It has plenty of space for two people (though I was on my own), was clean and fresh, had a kitchen with everything you need to cook for yourself, access to a washing machine and a sunny terrace to dry laundry. The walls are quite thin so once or twice noise from neighbours was quite loud, but this was easily solved with earplugs. Mostly it was extremely peaceful, especially considering how close it is to the tourist shops. Some previous visitors' comments mention it being cold- the apartment gets very little sunlight so I can see that might be an issue in cold weather. In May I found it to be absolutely the perfect temperature. I didn't need to use the heater or the air-con, even though it was sometimes 30degrees outside. There is also a very friendly black cat who came to say hello.

“Totally great place, very responsive host!”
The best

The location was great. The host thoughtfully left coffee makings.

To be improved

The property has an issue with ants. My son left a sandwich on the counter for a couple hours in the afternoon—it was covered with ants that entered near an exterior window.

“Very good”
The best

I really appreciated having ground coffee and an espresso maker.

To be improved

My son left part of a sandwich on the counter for about two hours while we went out for coffee. When we returned, there were literally thousands of ants that had come from the window, along the wall, behind the microwave,

“Overall the flat is nice and the host is lovely but the noise and how cold the flat gets makes it hard to give a complet”
The best

Host is very nice, attentive and responsed quickly to any of my messages. Flat was just as shown in pictures and it’s very spacious. Lovely patio and balcony (that you share with other flqts). Also hqs a washing machine (which you also share with other flats). Albaicín is a nice area but not accessible with suitcases / people with disabilities as it’s all uphill and through narrow roads (not accessible by car). Location is good as it’s pretty central and close to everything (but it’s all uphill)

To be improved

The flat is VERY cold and noisy. The AC doubles up as the heater but it’s not remotely sufficient to warm up the big flat. Also can’t turn the heating on above 25 degrees otherwise you will be charged extra. I stayed in May and had to sleep with multiple blankets + 2 jumpers to stay warm so this flat is out of question if you plan to stay in winter. The neighbours are extremely noisy. I was kept up till 1am and woken up at 7am everyday but the barking dogs, screaming cats and loud neighbours. You can even here everything when the neighbours next door use the toilet. The host can’t control the noise but it’s a big issue. The whole flat’s drains smelt horrible when it rained. Mould also starting to grow in the kitchen and shower is breaking (see photos). Overall the flat is nice and the host is lovely but the noise and how cold the flat gets makes it hard to give a completely positive review.

“All perfect”
The best

All was perfect, what I like the most is that there was a lot of what we need, more than we expected. Also the owner was super attentive and the zone was lovely! Highly recommended.
