“Not what I was expecting”

The pool is a good size, beautiful view. Ruralidays were excellent at communicating when I had an issue.

The access road down to the accommodation is most definitely not for nervous or new drivers. It is a single track, some concrete, some dirt track with uneven surfaces that is very bumpy and rocky. It is also on the side of the mountain with a sheer drop. Very few passing places as well so you need to cross your fingers you don't meet anyone else! I breathed a sigh of relief everytime we reached either the house or the main mountain road. The pool is not attached to the house and is down either some steep steps at the front or you have to walk down the road, which is a hill. This was not clear in any of the photos when I booked, nor was it in the description either. Not suitable if you have kids, as you have to pack a bag with all the things you want from the house, or else keep making the trip back. Annoying. This is also not just a private house but the owner has plantations on the land by the pool. He therefore arrives often to water and pick crops. This was rather uncomfortable.
