“My Tropic Gem”
The best

The garden is a little peace of heaven! Just splendid!! Perfectly maintained, harmonious, everything was right about this garden, it was like an oasis in The Island Rocky Structure, loved it! The only downside is that it is a shared garden, so if there are very noisy children with other tenants, this disturbs the peace and quiet of the surranding there, and that's just what we are looking for... We tried to negotiate with the new tenants to reach a compromise, but they reacted quite defensively, which was very unfortunate. The lovely owner on the other hand and her family have been very very discreet and very friendly, they also came to take a dip in the pool every now and then (it was 40 degrees at the time! so cooling down was really a must!) and this did not bother us at all. They really respected us and we respected them

To be improved

The house was sublime for me, I love to cook and prepared one of my best dishes there! Maybe an extra pan could make a difference and the juicer is at its end, but otherwise a more than comfortable kitchen surrounded by all the natural beauty! What more could a person desire! The bed is also just PERFECT! We slept wonderfully! This is my gem: Casa Anakena....

“Disappointing”
To be improved

Unfortunately, I was misled. The house is presented on Booking as "detached," but in reality, the owner lives very close by. Across the road, they have a garden where her family, including children, frequently spends time. I was seeking peace and privacy, but this did not meet my expectations at all. On top of that, I couldn't drive my car up to the house and had to leave it in front of the gate. Several times, even though I locked the house, I found it unlocked, and I was told to leave it that way. A few times, a dog ran into the garden, so I didn't feel comfortable relaxing outside either.
