“Cozy inn with perfect access to Cathedral”
The best

Lovely small inn right at walking path up to Cathedral and sanctuary. Our host was so gracious and helpful! This is a perfect location for what we did. We skipped the Lakes and instead used time to go to coast (Ribadesella) which we think was a a wonderful short stop before heading to Oviedo. Enjoyed a very good dinner at El Repelao Restaurant close to Casa Asprón. Good breakfast at inn. Rooms are small, but it worked for us. Glad we stayed here so we could enjoy the Cathedral without having to dash off. The setting here is fabulous.

“The breakfast included eggs, ham & cheese, yoghurt, toasts and cake, which was a great start of the day. The hotel is located close to Covadonga which allowed easy access to the lakes. There is parking located close to the hotel. We stayed for two nights and the housekeeper made our bed and gave us fresh towels for our second night. · Cons: The room was a bit small and we could barely find space to open our two suitcases. The hairdryer was filled with dust inside and was certainly due for a replacement. Perhaps because the owner is more fluent in Spanish, he gave an impression that he prioritised guests who speaks Spanish. Also, there is a 2% surcharge if you wish to pay by credit card. Unfortunately, this was communicated only by a sign at the front desk and was not communicated at the time of booking.”

“Generous hospitality in a beautiful setting!”
The best

Everything! The location was perfect for our adventures, close enough to Cangas de Onis, but still somewhat secluded. The breakfast each day was wonderful and plenty to get our day started right. Highly recommended staying here!!
