We loved staying here, the apartment was huge and plenty of seating areas. We was greeted with huge smiles and shown around, Everything had been thought of, the kitchen was extremely well stocked, dish washer- yeppieeee There were board games, beach towels, washing machine and dryer with tablets, hair straighteners, ice cubes, I mean there was everything you would possibly want. In the heart of banana plantations it was quiet and out of the way. There is a natural swimming pool out the front and a cafe and restaurant very close by. I really enjoyed staying here.

Lovely owners stocked the apartment with fresh bananas and lots of other food. Amazing location right at the water. Extra large with great facilities.

“Extreme smells in a sticky, dirty, moldy apartment with an unfriendly host close to beautiful pool”

The area is very beautiful, the natural pool is close.

To be improved

We felt very uncomfortable in the apartment. The smell in the apartment is extremely intense. The host placed exactly 10 air fresheners with an extreme coconut smell in the apartment. We put them in one room and closed the door. After a day it was apparent she was trying to mask the strong smell of mold in the apartment. We were getting headaches and nausea from the smells. It was not clean, some parts in the apartment were sticky and the bathrooms were rusty and moldy. We found some dark hairs on the sheets. Also there was a cockroach in the apartment. The kitchen was very heavily used, some of the pans did not work with the cooking surface because they were so bent on the bottom. In the bedroom we were sleeping in there was some white stuff falling down from the ceiling on the pillows. Also we could hear loud steps and furniture being moved upstairs. Illuminada, the host, tried to offer us money not to write a bad review, whatever it takes to keep a good rating. It was the worst apartment I stayed in so far.

“Beautiful apartment with fantastic views over the ocean.”

The best

Loved the views over the ocean. Really nice to wake up too and look out over the sea. The accommodation is very clean and modern with everything you would need for a self catering trip.

To be improved

Everything was great, maybe a couple of extra pillows for the beds but other than that I couldn't fault it.

A lot of space, nice view on the sea, very clean, modern facilities, kind host, close to natural swimming pool.

To be improved

By accident we unfortunately left a lot of new groceries behind in the fridge. When we returned to pick it up, it was already taken by the owner en partly thrown away without any check with us by phone
