Standard quality for this hotel tier.
The economical price was a positive aspect, though it didn't meet expectations.
Amenities were adequate but lacked thorough cleanliness.
Location was noted to be difficult to access with narrow roads and steep paths.
Overall experience was mixed with some reservations about location and cleanliness.
Mixed experiences with the service; some found the host unresponsive.
“More of a shed than a house”
The location is spectacular. The premises are secluded, so it's quiet. Plenty of heaters, you won't get cold.
Looks like an abandoned hippie commune, with lots of temporary repairs. Musty. Very low level for the money.
“Great place to connect with nature and explore walks in the Anaga forest.”
Incredible views and beautiful setting of the house.
“Good”
This house was in a pretty unique spot. We enjoyed the surrounding views very much. The mountains can get pretty cold, luckily we had heaters there. All of the basic kitchen tools and appliances are available.
The access road is pretty narrow and steep, which can be challenging when you come at dark. Also I was missing some light in the shower, but otherwise it was very decet accomodation.
“Beautiful location. The house is charming but it needs a caring hand I would say.”
Beautiful location. The house is charming but it needs a caring hand. The toilet seat was broken off( the host told us he just couldn't fix it before our arrival ). In the kitchen the door was broken (the host told us just to remove it so we did :) ) was kind of funny. But as this description goes you can see it needs a little bit of caring hand. I would remove the kitchen as it is saggy. We only stayed one night instead of two.
the kitchen is dying.
“A beautiful getaway in Anaga”
It was everything I had hoped for when booking. A nice, comfortable, clean and homely place located in a more secluded part of the island, surrounded by beautiful landscape and nature. My favorite part of my stay, was to relax and reflect under the tree and stare off into the gorgeous ocean view. I did make a hike up to the Casa Santiago restaurant for an early dinner and it was delicious and well worth the walk. Luis, the contact person, was extremely helpful, welcoming and a pleasure to work with. I would not have been able to enjoy my stay without him. I look forward to visiting and staying here again.
